1.Main Materials for Medical Syringes
Modern syringes are becoming increasingly precise in their manufacturing, and the choice of materials directly affects the safety of the product. Currently, the mainstream types are divided into three categories:
- Glass material: Reusable for disinfection but fragile. It is now rarely used.
- Ordinary plastic: Lower cost but poorer temperature resistance.
- Medical-grade polypropylene: Preferred material by brands such as Zongkai, resistant to 121℃ high-temperature sterilization.
2.Material Characteristics of Zongkai Syringes
Zongkai uses medical-grade polypropylene (PP) which is like giving the syringe an invisible protective suit:
- Biological compatibility: Passed cytotoxicity test
- Chemical stability: Does not react with the injected medication
- Mechanical strength: Push rod sliding resistance ≤ 0.3N
- Transparency: Facilitates observation of the remaining liquid volume
3.Scientific Logic of Material Selection
Different medical scenarios are like different climate zones, requiring matching materials:
- Vaccine injection: Must use materials without DEHP
- Pancreatic insulin injection: Prioritize high-precision push rod design
- Contrast agent injection: Requires special materials resistant to high pressure
- Pediatric use: Prefer safety design to prevent puncture injuries
